I don't remember to call
You don't believe me at all
What did I do baby
I don't believe when you say you believe me

I don't remember her name
I let her go all the same
What did I do baby
I don't believe when you say you believe me

(guitar solo)

You've got more issues than a newspaper
So long goodbye and see you later
What did I do baby (what did I do)
What did I do baby (what did I say)
What did I do baby (what can I do)
I don't believe when you say you believe me

<p>
Have you ever had a friend (or significant other) who has... issues?
</p>

<p>
That's what this song ended up being about.
</p>

<p>
The song *started* as just an incredibly catchy guitar riff. "What can I do with this riff?" I wondered.
</p>

<p>
Then I realised that this would make a good old-fashioned angry yelling song.
</p>

<p>
And what would I yell about? Issues!
</p>

<p>
It bugs the heck out of me when I'm trying to be nice to someone and they ALWAYS THINK I'M TRYING TO TRICK THEM. Look, if you don't trust me at some point then it's not gonna work.
</p>

<p>
I don't know where I got the "more issues than a newspaper" line, but that seems to be everyone's favorite part.
