I play a Gibson SG. I like it because it's easy to play, but more importantly
it has a big (huge) sound.
</p>
<p>
You can actually make an SG sound almost like an acoustic guitar if you want,
or you can flip the tone switch and just shred electric rock.
</p>
<p>
Interesting tidbit: Before I got the SG, I used to record with two different guitars.
We would use a Fender Telecaster for tone, and then we'd layer in a different guitar
(called a "Melody Maker") for grunge.
</p>
<p>
Thanks to the SG, I don't have to do that any more. I get my sound from
one guitar - that's it.
</p>

Rock stars get into trouble. I spill things on my phone. I drop my phone.

I *should* be out $700 for a new iPhone right now, but I'm not, thanks to the
Otter iPhone case. It is the most durable, practical case you can get.

I have dropped my phone in this case, and spilled wine on it. In both instances, the
phone was not harmed at all. I was able to take the phone out of its case, dry off
the case, and then it was like nothing happened.

But lately, my favorite series is the Bourne trilogy.

I'm always online - to me it is annoying to handle DVDs and put them into the
computer and wait for the computer to read them and pop up windows media player...
</p>

Enter Amazon Instant Video. You can either rent a video for three bucks, or buy it for
$10. When you buy it, it's like an unlimited rental. You can watch the video any time
you're online.
</p>
<p>
My favorite part: you can start watching Jason Bourne at home, evacuate to a new location,
and pick up where you left off on a different computer. Instant video is sweet.
</p>
