<h3>About Steve Fentriss</h3>
<div style="margin-left:0em; margin-right:2em; line-height:1.32em;">
<p>
Steve Fentriss is an American musician based in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Steve plays
guitar, sings and writes songs.
</p>
<p>
Steve's love for catchy tunes with powerful chorus melodies (or "hooks") came
from listening to his <a href="http://bigpinky.com/">father's oldies rock band</a>, which played classic American
music by bands like the Beach Boys and Jimmy Buffett.
</p>
<p>
Steve started writing songs at age 12, when he stole his Father's stage
keyboard and learned to program short sequences that sounded like a full band playing
all of the parts.
</p>
<p>
Steve worked as a Jazz drummer in Ann Arbor, playing with bands like Paul Finkbeiner's
Atmospheric Disturbance Band and Phil Ogilvie's Rhythm Kings, which featured
James Dapogny.
</p>
<p>
While teaching at the Ann Arbor School for Performing Arts, Steve encountered his
then six-year-old protégé, Eli Engelbert.
</p>
<p>
Later, Steve and Eli formed a band with Eli's twin sisters, Ariel and Zoey. Their
band, Sugar Station, became an important part of the nationally syndicated
Ariel & Zoey, Eli Too.
</p>
<p>
Steve releases all of his latest tunes through his <a href="http://fentriss.com/">Fentriss.com website</a>, where
fans can also read Steve's <a href="http://fentriss.com/blog">private blog</a>. Steve also has
a presence on <a href="http://www.youtube.com/stevefentriss">YouTube</a>.
